Kupwara, June 22 (TTK): In a heart-wrenching incident, a 17-year-old girl lost her life today in Keegam, located in the Kandi area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district. According to official sources, the girl, identified as Mehbooba Jan, daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie from Izz Gund Khumriyal, suffered a fatal injury due to an electric shock while cleaning her adopted home in Keegam Kandi.Upon discovering the accident, she was immediately rushed to a nearby health facility.
Despite prompt medical attention, she was tragically pronounced dead upon arrival. The incident has left the community devastated.The local police have acknowledged the unfortunate demise of the teenager and have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death.
