"Heavy Rainfall Damages Rajouri-Jammu-Poonch Highway, Diverts Traffic through Kalakote for Safety"

On September 15th, a section of the Rajouri-Jammu-Poonch highway near Rajal Nowshera suffered damage due to heavy rains. As a result, an under-construction culvert was also affected. This incident led to a halt in traffic movement on the road.

To manage the situation, traffic has been redirected through Kalakote as the damaged road is currently impassable. This decision was made by the authorities to ensure the safety of travelers.
