In a deeply unfortunate incident on Friday, a young man, aged 23, lost his life after slipping in the Shrunz fall area of Baramulla district in North Kashmir.
According to an official statement provided to the news agency Kashmir the victim has been identified as Javid Ahmad Ganie, son of Abdul Majeed Ganie, a resident of Posnage Kreeri. The incident occurred when Javid Ahmad accidentally fell into the water at Shrunz fall.
Local residents promptly responded to the situation, retrieving the body from the water. They rushed him to a nearby hospital in Tangmarg, where the doctors, after examining him, declared him brought dead.
The police have initiated investigations into the incident to ascertain the circumstances leading to the tragic event.
