(Maharashtra) [India], July 1 (TTK): In a devastating incident on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway, a bus traveling from Yavatmal to Pune caught fire in Buldhana, resulting in the loss of 25 lives.
The incident occurred at approximately 2 am on Saturday.
"After thorough rescue efforts, 25 bodies have been recovered from the bus. The total number of passengers aboard was 32, with 6-8 individuals sustaining injuries. The injured have been promptly transported to Buldhana Civil Hospital," stated Buldhana Police Deputy SP Baburao Mahamuni.
Further details are currently being awaited as the investigation progresses.
