Srinagar, June 25 (TTK): A residential house was completely destroyed when a fire broke out in Pehlipora Mohalla of Safapora area in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Sunday afternoon.

According to reports from Kashmir Scroll, the fire originated in the residence of Mohammad Sultan Khan, son of Late Noor Mohammad Khan, due to an short circuit. However, the timely intervention of Army's 13RR unit prevented the flames from spreading to nearby localities.

The Army, in collaboration with local residents, promptly evacuated the family members, thereby ensuring that no lives were lost. Their swift response helped extinguish the fire and prevented it from engulfing neighboring houses, ultimately saving precious lives.
