The incident occurred at around 6.15 am along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Samroli, as the driver of the car, transporting pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh to the Baltal base camp in Ganderbal district, lost control and struck the road divider.
The injured pilgrims were promptly evacuated and taken to GMC Udhampur for medical assistance. Their condition has been reported as stable, the official added.
