Pakistani TikToker Ayesha, Known for Her Viral Dance Video "Mera Dil Ye Pukare," Allegedly Passes Away from Suspected Drug Overdose: An 18-year-old girl, identified as Ayesha, who gained fame on TikTok, was found deceased at Jinnah Hospital. In a distressing incident, two unidentified individuals left her body at the busy emergency ward of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) before hastily departing the premises.
A couple, introducing themselves as Jibran and Sehrish, brought the girl to the hospital's emergency department and requested medical examination. Upon learning of the unfortunate demise of the girl, they promptly fled the scene in a vehicle.
Statement of Ayesha's Father and Initiation of FIR (First Information Report)
Sultan, the father of Ayesha, provided a comprehensive account to the police, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding his daughter's tragic passing. Sultan, a resident of Punjab and an employee at a hotel, disclosed that his daughter had entered into matrimony three years ago and had subsequently relocated to Gulistan-e-Johar in Karachi.
"I was informed by the police about the discovery of my daughter's lifeless body. It appears that she had attended a gathering alongside Jibran and an individual named Pinki. Regrettably, my daughter's premature demise resulted from a drug overdose. In light of these distressing events, I proceeded to the police station to file a formal complaint against the individuals involved," Sultan revealed.
Prime Suspect Arrested, Investigation Underway
In response to Sultan's complaint, the police acted swiftly and registered an FIR at the Defence police station, marking the commencement of an official inquiry into the incident. Subsequently, later in the day, the main suspect identified as Jibran, also known as Jimmy, who was held accountable for leaving the girl's body at Jinnah Hospital in Karachi, was apprehended by the law enforcement authorities.
Who was Ayesha?
The victim, originally from Sheikhupura, resided in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi. The police have declined to release the body to her mother-in-law.
According to Ayesha's mother-in-law, her son worked as a driver but struggled with drug addiction. She mentioned that Ayesha had informed them about attending a birthday party.
The police gathered information about the deceased's family. Ayesha's father and two brothers reside in Gujarat and Okara, respectively, while her mother has sadly passed away.
Post-mortem Report
As reported by ARY News, the SSP South stated that the police department is committed to concluding the investigation and ensuring accountability of all relevant individuals. Hospital sources initially indicated that the girl's condition worsened due to a drug overdose, but the post-mortem examination revealed no evidence of drug overdose or violence.
Earlier, the investigating officer disclosed that the young girl had been dropped off at a private gathering held at a bungalow located on Street 32, Saba Street, DHA Phase 1, by a person named Nadeem, accompanied by four other girls. However, the alleged "owner" of the bungalow, Tariq, vacated the premises and fled following the incident.{TTK}
